Harry’s folklore‑inspired dining room at the second Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse offered playful storytelling in design. At Holiday House SoHo 2016, Harry delivered a bold, maximalist bedroom in black-and-white, channeling Christian Lacroix circa 1988. An antique German carousel zebra perched on the windowsill inspired the cheetah carpet, velvet‑flocked wallpaper, and a branch-covered ceiling – pattern piled upon pattern in joyful storytelling through design.

Harry’s ‘Presentation Powder Room’ featuring Kohler product dazzled at the 2016 Kips Bay Show House, lined sky-blue leather and centered around a digitally reproduced 1920s mosaic of Stockholm’s “Queen of Mälaren.” A golden toad, geranium-leaf mirror, Murano fixture, and even orange toilet paper added cheeky charm to this theatrical, eccentric space.

Harry transformed a small room with one window into a hideaway, clad entirely in smoke‑colored mirrored panels and a custom Phillip Jeffries wallpaper called “Harry’s Chocolate”. Patterned cheetah carpet, a vintage glowing acrylic “floating” bed, sculptural Spitzmiller lamps, ‘jewel’ bolster, and a large stuffed animal giraffe turned this compact space into expressive maximalism.

For the inaugural Holiday House benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation in 2008, Harry themed his room around Easter, beginning with a chocolate‑bunny‑in‑an‑egg sculpture. A mix of antiques and vintage pieces, such as a mirrored screen, turquoise garden chairs and playful accents (like a carrot ‘outlet cover’) created a whimsical and memorable homage to the holiday.
